Does anyone know any Dr's in New York who do Psychiatric Evalutations?

This question may sound strange but, does anyone know any Dr's in the New York area (Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn) who do Psychiatric Evaluations? This is the last thing my insurance company is waiting for. I can have it done at the Hospital where I am having my surgery but, this will take a long time as you have to go on the waiting list and they mail you a date to come in. My surgeon wants me to have this done asap. I got a list of about 20 names of Dr's from my insurance company but, everyone I call says they don't do these evaluations. I'm frustrated. Of course I would prefer to go to someone who is experienced with other people going through the surgical process. I appreciate any info.
