Anyone end up with a feeding tube post-op?

Last Thursday 6/5/03,I had a feeding tube placed,after having surgry for adhesions and scar tissue build up.I was exactly 4 weeks post-op on the day of surgery.My surgeon said he was going to leave the feeding tube in place for approx 1 month,I'm to use the tube to build myself back up,put most all my Protein/water thru tube.Take my vitamins and calories by mouth.Just wondering has anyone else gonr thru this?The tube is very uncomfortable as well,any comments?
