Is this a good illustration about how much pain we are putting on our hips and knees?
Someone else on here said that for every 1 pound of body fat we put 25 pounds of pressure on our joints. I thought this would be a good illustration of just how much weight that is with every step...I weigh 279 that means that I put 6975 pounds of pressure on my weight bearing joints. This would be equivalent to a 2000 Silverado 2500 ext.cab 4WD, short bed, loaded with firewood, bikes, kids, fuel, and tounge weight from trailer which only weighs in at 6600 pounds. My goodness that seems like a lot of weight on my knees - does anyone know if this is correct or am I calculating it wrong?
