Are there any percentages about how many gall bladders end up taken out?

I'd love it if my surgeon would go ahead and remove my gall bladder during surgery, but he only does it if he sees problems in pre op tests. I have a family history of problems, and have had many surgeries already. I am really hoping this will be the last one for me. Anyone want to comment on percentages of folks who end up back in the OR? Share some experiences? How do you know you are having trouble?
