Has anyone had Gastro Plasty (late 70's early 80's) and has now had succuessfull RNY

I had Gastro Plasty in 1979 and again in 1982 the end result was failure. I have regained all the weight and am now considering having RNY surgery. Has anyone heard of having RNY after the Gastro Plasty? Thank you for your replies.
