What have you taken for allergies?

Hi All, I was wondering if you all could please help me. I have this terriable allergy headache and I am scared to try anything that might no do well with the surgery. I am 7 weeks out today. Should I go to PCP and get allergy tabs or what? He would not give them to me before cuz I smoked and now that I have quit I seem to have a worse problem with my allergies. Thanks in advance for you help.
