can you suggest how to get around the terrible nausea from drinking ULTRA SLIM FAST?

I get very ill everytime I drink the slim fast as ordered by my nutritionist. I am supposed to be drinking this 3 - 4 times per day but cannot as it is too sweet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am 6 weeks post op.
