I would like to hear from some people that had open RNY

I know what they do on the inside is the same surgery, I would like to know how some of you did recovery wise and time to recover and if you have advise for me and tips, I am a single mom of three boys and one of them will be two in a month and I know he cant lay on me and I wont be able to hold him I dont know how I will deal with that but I will protect my tummy from him he's very ruff. I think they should give me a sedative now for my nerves. any advice is appreciated, thank you Melinda
