Where can I find a Bariatric Nutritionist?
I NEED HELP!! I asked this very question 2 years ago, and only two individuals responded. I thought I'd try again to get some feedback. I had a Laproscopic Proximal RNY on 9/3/02. I was doing real well for a very long time...at least up until being diagnosed with Liver Cancer back in October 2003. After that, my life became overwhelmed with so many things, I began going through an emotional roller coaster...Now, since all of that, I've gained a total of about 40 ponds back. No, I don't eat all day, I don't skip meals and I drink the required amount of water and then some EVERY DAY. I have, however, slowed down on my exercize because my knees hurt (due to the weight gain) and my motivation is 'nil' anymore. I also found out that now, as of 3/18/05, I have been diagnosed as having an "unspecified disorder of the thyroid" (ICD-9-CM) Code 246.9 I'm at a point now that I feel like a failure.
