Where are you shopping since you've had WLS?
I had my surgery, the LAP RNY September 3, 2002 (about 15 months or so ago and I must say, I'm absolutely AMAZED the way my clothes are fitting now. I buy a few things brand new (designer brands) IF, they are REALLY ON SALE...otherwise, I've been hitting these thrift and consignment shops!! Just like brand new!! Makes me feel like I'm RICH. They say "fake it, until you make it", and I'm headed in that direction, especially since the WLS has seemingly made an impression on my peers at work. I have another position now that requires I dress like a corporate executive...AAAhhh, how sweet it is to dream! ANyone else go "thrifting"? Some folks I know in my area pretend they don't, but have been caught in some of the same stores I go to. I went to one thrift store and took $100...didn't I come outta there with shoes (Etienne Aigner, mind you) that cost me only $1.99!!! Twelve 100% silk blouses (Gloria Vanderbilt, Worthington, Morgan Taylor) for $8; suits (two-piece) by Albert Nipon, Kasper, etc. for $4.99 each!!! I LOVE IT!! It's like when riding around through the neighborhood, like radar or a magnet "guides" me right to where the yard sales are....have you experienced this?
