Is 18 months of Ketosis bad for you?

I had the DS surgery in November of last year and have lost enough weight and am pretty much at my goal weight already. My doctor still wants me to eat only 25 carbs or less a day which is what I have been doing all along. I have also heard I need about 100 carbs a day. Which is it really? Is this something that not all doctors agree on so they treat their patients according to what they think is okay and won't hurt me? Or will this hurt me in the long run no matter what? I wouldn't mind continuing to lose weight that's why I had the surgery but I may have reached my "goal weight" sooner than some. I went from 280lbs. to 146lbs. a size 28 to a size 8 in 11 months! Any info?
