Will my cycle ever go back to normal?

I am almost 5 months post and have lost 82 pds. I started my period in the middle of my birth control pills pack. I have had my period for a week and a half now. It is driving me crazy. I have always been regular. I think my bc pills may be too low. I am on a lo-ovum. I go to my GYN in a week and a half. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem. Thanks
