How am I to know if I'm transected if it doesn't say so?
I know much has been made available in the library about exactly *how* our pouches and "insides were re-arranged", but I'm still trying to see how my insides really are constructed...I had the Lap RNY in Atlanta (Dunwoody, GA) in September 2002. I have a copy of my operative report, and it doesn't actually come right out and say that I've been "transected"...I've gone over many times and just don't *see* it. This is confusing to me. I've been told here that most Lap RNY's are transected, and it doesn't indicate this in my report or medical records.
