Why does it hurt to eat???

I will be 4 weeks post-op on October 1. I had Lap RNY on September 3 and am now on a pureed diet. EVERYTHING I eat seems to hurt my pouch. Even water hurts. I am NOT gulping, I chew everything that needs chewing to a pulp and I haven't eaten anything that I know could hurt me. Will this pain ever go away??? Also, will I always have to chew my food to a pulp before swallowing or does the eating process get better over time. I'm feeling very discouraged and am starting to have regrets. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
