What can I do about all this extra skin?

I am 13 months post-op and have lost 177 lbs. so far (thank you, thank you). I have a ton of excess skin, but I DREAD having expensive elective surgery to remedy this problem. Have any of you had your excess skin problem go away after time? I am 29 years old, so I'm still holding out hope that my skin will shrink up somewhat. Is that a pipe dream?
