Has anyone been posponed due to lack of exercise???

Hello. I was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, but.... I saw my surgeon for pre-op appointments on Friday and he cancelled the surgery and said I had to come back in 2 months because I hadn't been exercising enough. He wants me to exercise 5 days a week for 50 minutes before I can get surgery. Needless to say, I'm depressed, but resigned to doing my best to comply in order to get this surgery.
