Why am I so hungry

I am hungry so much all the time, I can eat a premade chef salad, no dressing, 2 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of meat, tom, bean sprouts in about 2 1/2 hours and still not really feel full. What am I doing wrong? Its been 6 1/2 weeks since my surgery and I have lost 40 lbs so far, but feel if I keep it up it will stop, maybe there is a hole in my new pouch....Melody
