Did anyone's insurance use a large body frame guideline for them?

I got a denial letter from Blue Choice.. they say .. Im not fat enough for the surgery!! hahahah.. that has got to be the funniest thing I have ever been told in my life!! Anyone have trouble with the insurance company like this? The doctor's office thinks it's because they used guidelines for a large framed person .. and I am a medium frame.. I sent the appeal letter last Friday. Did anyone else have this problem?? -- audra howard
