Approximately how long will the hair loss go on?

Approximately how long will the hair loss go on.. I'm two months post-op and have noticed some thinning in last few weeks and I had thick long hair. I get my 65-70 grams of protein in daily so that's not a problem. That's about all I have room for is the protein. How soon does it start growing back in?
