Arthritis question

Anyone develop arthritis after they lost their weight? I am 2 1/2 years p.o., down 125 lbs and have severe arthritis in my hips. Funny how this didn't bother me before. Anyone have anything similar happen to them. Someone told me Al Roker is having problems with this. Anyone hear of this?
