Anyone approved for abdominoplasty with Empire Plan with NY State UUP

I have seen a plastic surgeon regarding a tummy tuck to help relieve my chronic back pain. I don't have a lot of excess, but what is there sits and contributes to the back problem. He is submitting the letter and pictures, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with the state employees' plan for reconstructive surgery. Approved? Denied and appealed?
