Has anyone had tummy tuck/thigh lift covered by New York state (UUP) insurance?

I work for the State University of New York (UUP) and have a lot of excess skin that could be removed. I have no rashes or hanging panni, but I do have a chronic back problem with L5S1 herniation that hasn't gotten better since losing close to 160 pounds. I had RNY lap surgery Jan. 29, '03 and am thrilled with the results, but I was wondering if I could get the doctor to determine removal of this skin would help my back if ins. would cover?? Gerianne
