Broke my ankle and dislocated my knee

Today I broke my left ankle in 3 places, also I dislocted my left knee. The E.R. doctor said my weight was the cause of my pain :( I am just waiting for a surg.date. The E.R. doc said it might take 3 months to heal because my ankle is somewhat cracked up in a lot of places, So will it affect me gettin surgery..I was asking because you guys are so smart...Much Love Ruschell
