DOES THE HAIR LOSS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH AN ITCHY SCALP

I am 3 1/2 months post op and my hair is falling out, and I know that this is common, and should end by the 7th month or so. But I have such an itchy scalp. Does it have anything to do with the hair loss?
