I had a CBC on 3/14/02 and my red blood cell count was 3.95, my hemoglobin was 12.2 and my hematocrit was 35.4. I had another CBC on 5/28/02 and my counts were 3.34, 10.1 and 30.3 respectively. The normal ranges for these counts are: RBC=4.2-5.4, HGB=12.-16 and HCT=37-47. Am I in trouble in terms of being prepared for WLS? Should I notify my surgeon now? My surgery date is 8/14/02.
