Anyone know if the state of alabama is going to make insurance pay for wls?

Ive heard a rumor that Alabama is going to make insurers pay for WLS, and I was wondering if that would include Companies that are self insured? I have insurance thru Winn Dixie Co, and they EXCLUDE treatment for weight control, and I have been denied coverage for this surgery, but if this becomes a law, they would have to cover it since I live in Alabama right? Any info would be helpful. Dina
