What do I do with my denial???

I just got my denial letter today stating I was denied because I don't have proof of medically supervised diets (which isn't true). My pre approval request was sent by a out of network Dr. that I no longer want to go to. I have found Dr. Oh who is in network who last week also submitted a pre approval request for me. My question is do I appeal the denial with Dr. Oh (even though we haven't gotten an answer on his paperwork), or do I just wait and see if Dr. Oh's pre approval request is approved? It's confusing I know! Help Please!
