Will surgery be cancelled if a patient is having allergy symptoms pre-op?

My wls is scheduled for May 4th. I do not want to have to postpone surgery and go through this waiting period again. I am having allergy symptoms such as scratchy, sore throat and post nasal drip. I do not have any fever and feel fine other than the throat. Is this type of condition one that would keep me out of the O.R. on the 4th of May?
