How often & what blood tests should I expect post-op?

I'm 6 weeks post-op today and forgot to ask the doctor yesterday when and what kind of blood tests I should be getting. I'm not scheduled to see him again for another month. I would appreciate input from others as to what they have had to do. Thanks!
