What is up with the clothing exchange?

I have emailed two different people about clothing items they have listed on the clothing exchange site and neither have contacted me back. I thought maybe the items have been given to someone else but they are still listed on the site and I havent got an email back saying the items were already given away. Im not sure if I am doing this all wrong or what,,,any ideas?
