Does previous surgery for treatment of Crohn's affect WLS?

Ruptured appendix in 1992. Bowel had ruptured at lg/sm bowel area sections of this area were removed and the final diagnois was Crohn's. I have been relatively symptom free since. Will the previous surgery effect a WLS procedure?
