Help protein causes pain
I am four weeks out from my surgery and so far the only protein source that does not hurt my stomach and intestines, ie. cause cramping and aching, is protein popsicles from Wholefoods. These only have 11 grams per popsicle. Did anyone else have this issue? Starch based foods, fruit juice, water, tea, etc. None of these cause any cramping, but lactaid, soy poweder, and protein drinks like met rx, atkins, glucerna, liquid protein, yogurt, etc. all cause cramping. Any suggestions?, b/c I really think it's the protein not the items I am trying.
