Whats going to happen to my ugly stretchmarks?

I won't be having surgery till this summer but I am curious as to what happens to stretchmarks after alot of weight loss. All my life I have had stretch marks, now since the birth of my daughter and all my weight gain they are really bad. Will they fade away by the time a reach goal? HEY ALL YOU PEOPLE AT GOAL!!! What happened to your stretch marks?
