Am I jumping gun by visiting the Nutritionist and Psych dr before my Consult?

my appointment is not till dec 13 for the counseltation with dr pehrrson in arcadia calif....now my question is am i jumping the gun by going to the nutritionist and to the psych evaluation even before i see the doctor? i seen the nutritionist today at huntington memorial and i have a psych appointment on the 4th.
