Toothpaste makes me sick....

This might be kind of a dumb question, but I am almost 3 weeks post-op (open RNY) and my toothpaste seems to give me the dry-heaves. I am very careful not to swallow it, but it seems it's just too much for my stomach. The brand is Arm & Hammer Advance White. Has anyone ever had this problem and can anyone make a recommendation? I don't want to spend a bunch of money buying a whole bunch of different kinds of toothpaste...but obviously I want to be able to brush my teeth without getting sick.
