Does anyone know if WLS is covered under MEDI/CAL? If so, what is the process?

My mom wants WLS and only has Medi/Cal. She lives in Chico,Ca. Does anyone know how she can go about getting covered for WLS? The steps? Are there only certain doctors they let you go see? Specific types of WLS? Thanks for your input. Annie
