I'm doing very well sinnce surgery, but I have a friend who doesn't have access to the internet and I told her I would try to find info for her. She had a VGB done summer 1999. Was constantly throwing up and had many other problems relating to malabsorption. Had the RNY procedure done December, 1999 as a means of correction. Is still getting as she describes "morning sick" for about 20 to 30 minutes after she eats EVERY TIME! (and no, she's not pregnant) Her surgeon requested an ednoscopy late February, 2000. It showed no problems with ulceration or any type blockage. In other words, every thing looked absolutely normal. My friend is already at (or past) her goal weight and continues to loose because she just hates the idea of eating. She has already been hospitalized because she was completely dehydrated. Can anyone suggest anything or has anyone else been through something similar? Thanks -
