I am 9days Post-Op and one of my incisions came open...

I had my staples removed two days ago and the very night one came open. I called my surgeon the next day and he said to put bandages on it unless I was seriously worried and then I could come in (he wasn't worried so I wasn't).At any rate I woke this AM and the blood had soaked through on to my clothes. It is so sore and has turned real dark almost black at the incision and is really bruised...the rest of my Lap incisions haven't come open and they look fine, so does the whole where my tube was. I don't know if I should be worried or not...it is a new different kind of pain in that area. Thanks for your input and help. Lap RNY 10/29/03 Sabrina
