Will I be shaved for surgery? And a

Odd questions but...I've got a small amount of light colored hair on my tummy. Not thick, not noticiable....will they shave my tummy before surgery? And the other question...if I'm on my period...how will the blood thinners (I'm going to be given two) effect that? Will it cause me to bleed more or less or???????
