Now that i know to measure w/ cups instead of scale (after 1 yr-lol) how much protein

For like the first 9 months post-op I always measured my food with a scale, not measuring cups. I now realize that volume counts more, wish I realized this before lol But I'm a little confused. I still count grams of protein and calories, and 1oz of chicken is supposed to be like 35cal and 7gr. protein, but is it a 1/8 cup ounce or an ounce on the scale? I can eat 1/3 of a chicken breast (measures 1.5oz with scale) or half of a homemade 1/4lb. hamburger with slice of cheese. I'm at my goal weight and happy, i guess I just need a little reassurance to make sure I'm not eating too much. Thanks!
