Bruxism, apnea, and CPAP- Will my mouth guard be in the way?

I have to wear an acrylic mouth gaurd due to severe bruxism. I have not had a sleep study done, but my faher has sleep apnea and I have the same symptoms. I do n ot know enough about the CPAP. Could anyone tell me if the mouth gaurd will interfere if I am put on a CPAP.
