complications being a lightweight

I was wondering if the risk of complications before and after surgery get any lower when you are a lightweight. Does it even make a diffrence? Is there anywhere you can read about what kind of complications people die from and there health going into the operation? I am just a little nervous and trying to calm myself (maybe). I am 31 years old 5 2' and weight 225 pounds. Planning on surgery but nervous about not making it through the whole thing~~ thanks for any help Lori
