Has anyone had stricture symptoms that went away on their own?

All day yesterday I was vomitting (mostly foam and mucous) everytime I ate or drank anything. I also vomitting one time this morning. I called my Dr and he want's me to have an endoscopy tomorrow and I am fine with that. However, I have felt 100% better today and have been able to drink more water than usual and have even kept down some cheese and sauce and peanut butter crackers. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it have been a 24hr flu bug or a fluke? Help!!! Should I wait a couple of days before having the endoscopy to see it my symptoms come back?
