7wks PostOp, had bruise that went away on IV site, now its back, should I be worried?

This is just odd. I had a bruise where they had the IV on my hand. It went away about 2 weeks later, and now, over 7 weeks post op, it's back! It hurts a little too. I didn't injure it in any way either. Should I be concerned? Tell my doc? Thanks, Annie
