Needing information on American Medical Securities Insurance

My friend just got a new job and will be getting ins benifits in 90days. The insurance is American Medical Securities. I would like to know if anyone has gotten approval with this ins and what was the requirements they had to meet? I would also like to hear from anyone that has been denied from this insurer and what was the battle like? Thanks,
