My surgery may be cancelled due to cyst on kidney

Someone please let me know everything will be ok. I had to have a cat scan done last week and they found a cyst on one of my kidneys. When I talked to the Drs. office yesterday, I was told that the dr. would need to look at the x-ray and decide whether or not he would do the surgery. I am so afraid that they are going to cancel my surgery, and I can't get a straight answer from my dr.'s office. The person in the office yesterday told me she would let me know today, but whe I called her I was told she wouldn't be in today, but that another person would be in and they would have her call me. I am so worried. I don't want to have this cancelled, especially since I finally got up the nerve to go through with this after thinking about it for 2 years and doing all this research. I will be so disappointed if this doesn't happen for me.
