Anyone had revision from Staple line ?

I had open rny 08/2000/ recently got sick ,Very very bad constipation and stomach pain,and saw a second surgeon and he says my staple line is coming loose and i need to be transected? i am awaiting approval now. But what can i expect? my 1st surgeon says the risk are alot higher,that was why he did not transect and he says he won't,that's why i found another doctor(Dr Roe in MARYLAND)because my first doctors says he won't transect?
