Differences between Johnson&Johnson band and Vanguard band

Can anyone tell me what are the substantive differences between the Johnson & Johnson lapband, and the Vanguard lapband? I am scheduled for surgery in March and have been given a choice between the two. I have done some research on both, but am wondering if anyone has had either one of these and what they liked or disliked about them. I'm in Canada. Thanks!
