Sharp, poke like pain over my pouch. Any idea what it could be?

I saw the doctor three days ago for 8-week check up and was fine. Yesterday, I developed a pain on the right side of my incision. (by the pouch) It feels like a sharp poke like a staple or pin. I called my doctor and they can not tell what it is but said to watch it. Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? Is it normal? Could it be just be scar tissue? It started out hurting only when I pressed it but now it hurts when I stand up but just briefly as if someone is sticking me from the inside. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
