Has anyone had a problem with getting a surgery date with Dr. Barry Walters?

I have BCBS insurance approval for the surgery but have not received a surgery date. I have friends that are already scheduled and I received insurance approval before them. The doctor's office has not been a lot of help and keep telling me to wait, it may be 2 more months. I feel that I have lost my place to be scheduled. Anyone had this problem?
